The Sprint Accelerator is for ambitious early stage Seed and Series A businesses in three key sectors, Health, Ageing, NDIS and Sports, giving them the skills, connections and opportunities they need to fast-track global commercial success.
Queensland based: global vision
Our aim is to expand Queensland’s and Australia’s innovation ecosystem to include multi-modal support for start-ups and future start-ups in these sectors, which are all set to boom globally in the coming years due to the post-covid focus on health, a global ageing population and the 2032 Olympics that will be held in Queensland.
We invest
The Sprint Accelerator uses funds to invest in the participants of the accelerator, becoming their first cheque. We then partner with industry leading VC’s and other investors to secure further capital pathways to help our teams grow.
The Sprint Accelerator Program comprises of 2 elements:
A 12 Week Accelerator Program including a 2 day intensive workshop in Brisbane, followed by an 8 week mentoring course. At the conclusion of the 12 Week Accelerator Program, participants are invited to present to a curated group of industry experts, external VC and Angel investors.
A 12 Month Regional Extension Program for regional Queensland, including 4x 1 Day Start-up and Innovation Skills Training Short Courses delivered in regional areas as identified by the Queensland Government, 6 x bi-monthly short topic webinars as well as invitation to attend Sprint Accelerator networking and Brisbane Mixer events.
